Drew, when our hearts finally connect with the things that break the heart of God, then growth and spiritual development finally begin to take shape and form. As I read your notes about Israel and as I hear your mind and heart coming to terms with the "Israel" inside of you, I am reminded that we are all just one decision, one choice away from becoming like all other disobedient, all other sinful people! Israel was no less a wandering child than are we. We are no less wandering children than Israel.

The difference between you, me and Israel will always be: will we be honest with our own lack of faith and trust? Will we be willing to see our error and come running back to the God of love and forgiveness?

Your post has been a good reminder to me of both my human nature and the divine nature of God. They can come together because said they could in Jesus. Thanks, brother.

I miss you, Drew! And guess what. Lisa's mom bought us a web cam...be prepared to SKYPE! Yes, I have officially joined the 21st century.

You're a good one, Drewski. Keep it real.
